Where do you ship from, and do you deliver across the UK?
We deliver to every UK address. Orders are shipped direct from our supplier, with tracking on every parcel.
How long will delivery take?
Please allow 15 to 30 days. Your tracking number and delivery details are sent by email as soon as the order is dispatched.
Does Nano Clean XD work the same in freshwater and marine tanks?
Yes — it performs the same in both.
Can I use it in a heavily stocked tank?
Yes. You will simply rinse it more often, as the filter saturates faster the heavier the bioload.
What is the guarantee and returns period?
Nano Clean XD carries a 90-day guarantee, and you may return it within 14 days of delivery.
Will it affect my water parameters?
No. It does not alter water parameters; by holding back waste it helps keep ammonia and nitrite stable.
How do I clean it, and how often?
Rinse it in water taken from the tank, so the beneficial nitrifying bacteria living in the pad survive. Rinse whenever you like, though we suggest cleaning it as soon as it starts to look saturated with waste.
Does it remove fine particles and microalgae?
Yes. The three-dimensional biochemical cotton and the eight filtration stages catch particles too fine to see.
How does it compare with filter wool or sponges on cost?
Nano Clean XD costs more up front and far less over a year: ordinary filter wool is replaced every few weeks, this is rinsed and refitted.
Is it compatible with every filter type?
Yes — hang-on, canister, sump, internal filters and others.
How can I make it last longer?
